"You look like a liquorice allsort"

Hello everyone!
First of all I don't even know what I was wearing today, or why I was wearing it, but what I do know is Stafford certainly was not ready for it.
It was my day off today as I had to swap yesterday due to a day full of clients. I wasn't actually planning on going anywhere and so just kept this is, but then ended up in Tesco's and New Look on a whim and got some looks. OH WELL.
I just want the weather to be back how it was now, this cold/rain/wind/SNOW is really not welcomed by me now. I have white jeans waiting in my wardrobe now for God's sake, come on Summer! It is sacrilege to wear this skirt with tights (and also a fashion offence upon reflection).
Anyway, despite not doing much and not having any tan on... today was pretty good, it's nice to not have to get up and go to work (although my alarm went off at 5.40 this morning for some reason) isn't it!

If you follow me on twitter (@missy_elz) you may know that before I had even left my bed this morning I had made a little purchase: Nike blazers! I have been after a pair of these since late last year and I hadn't been able to find any in my size. Until a few days ago I had actually just given up but then I had a shit day and wanted to spend some money to cheer myself up (you know how it is), so I spent my whole lunch hour scouring all the footwear shops in the Bullring to try and get myself a pair: NO LUCK. So when I was messing about of my phone when I woke up this morning I thought I'd have another look, and there on my Office app, they were...
I am SO excited about them, I can't wait for them to arrive! Also, if you have an iPhone, download the Office app- it is free delivery when you purchase from it, so if there's anything you have your eye on, get involved!

Another purchase I made today was when I was in New Look and it is this pastel granny top (as my Mother called it). I found it in the sale for £7 and so just bought it. I actually quite like it, although it's not my usual thing. I fear I was drawn in by the fact it was pastel and sale, but oh well. I think it'll be nice for when the weather is a bit more sensible!

That's all from me this evening. I hope you all have a great bank holiday weekend. I have 3 days off next week due to me working tomorrow so I'll be posting showing you more sensible attire and what not!

End note:

How fucking cool is this ASOS clutch?! I want one so bad!
