I love these trousers, they are a great cut and very versatile. Here are a few ideas for day and night that I have put together.

Firstly this snake print blouse will look great for an evening look with the trousers, tucked in or loose. Snake print is going to be relevant in S/S 11 too- see Burberrys collection, and the colours are also perfect for spring, without being too much.
 

The collared jersey button up is great to wear with the trousers in the day. I’ve also added another splash of snakeskin to this outfit, via the shoes, however in a tamer manner. The leather look belt will put the whole look together and can really accentuate the paper bag waist of the trouser.
Outfit 3 is quite eccentric however is more wearable than you think. Purple will be huge this S/S, and I think the peach goes with it fabulously. The grey in the trouser will tone the 2 colours down making it wearable for day or for a few drinks with the girls. I have shown the leopard with this outfit just to show how you can introduce a print without it being overpowering.
Finally you can never go wrong with a Breton top! I love the sharp, Parisian feel that they have, and think they look great with a peg-leg. I chosen camel and clack and would team it with all black accessories just to avoid it looking too crazy. This mid heel lace ups smarten up the look without it being overly dressy.
