BNTM Live.

Hello you lovely people, I’m back! Sorry I’ve been absent for a little longer than expected, Ive been catching up on sleep, gossip and food!
Anyhow, as you all probably know, I spent 5 days in London over the weekend working at Britains Next Top Model Live, on the Style Icon Workshop. I had such an amazing time & met some fabulous people! (I’ll probably have to edit this post because it’s late & I’ll probably forget tid-bits that I initially intended to share with you guys) :)
Some of the fabulous people I met Included: Lisa Nash- the presenter (I have a ‘what Lisa wore’ thing for you too!), Selena Francis Bryden, Nic & Sam from PixiWoo, Gemma Cairney, Gemma Cartwright from Big Girls Browse (check it out!), Emily O’Brien from My Fashion Life and Charley Speed, to name a few.

(Bit of OCD at the Premier Inn!)
Day 1.
What I wore

(Blouse- Oxfam, Culottes- River Island, Chelsea boots- New Look)

After meeting everyone, finding my bearings, making sure all was running smooth, calming down some of the guest talkers, modelling (yes, you read the correct....) and seeing Diana Vickers, I got to go to the main catwalk show and sat front row, VIP! Not only were there fabulous dancers, practically naked males and beautiful models, there was also all of the finalists from the show modelling and a performance by Jesse J. It was truely incredible! Here are a few snaps- apologies for the poor photography!

Day 2.
What I wore
(Top- Katherine House, Skinnys- Selfridges, Courts- Office)

Day two involved a very similar schedule to day one (minus the modelling & Ms. Vickers!) only this time I had a slightly cooler encounter with Charley Speed!

I also got a sneaky picture of the LOVELY Gemma Cairney (from Frock me & Radio one), who was bigging up Global Cool, showing you how to perk up your knitwear, ensuring you stay warm and looking fabulous this winter! Check out: http://www.globalcool.org/ for more info!
Check out the fabulous denim playsuit & leopard print tights!
There were also talks from the fabulous Emily O'Brien (http://www.myfashionlife.com/) throughout the weekend talking through 3 of this seasons hottest trends; Camel, Leopard Print & Shearling.

The pieces & the styling were incredible, mixing denim with camel for a colour pop, teaming it with a bear leg and a Chelsea boot for a super stylish smart day look, and Mad Men inspired lady like shift with leopard print fur and some Russell & Bromley flats. CLICK HERE! for more info!

Also giving her expert advice was the DIY queen, Selena Francis Bryden- Author of 'DIY Fashion' and clothing and furniture recycling expert gave her advice on Fashion Recycling and how to restyle your old clothes, as well as tips and tricks on thrifty ways to look great, including a customizing demonstration, where she turned tee's into dresses and even table cloths into halternecks & ponchos!

Do check out her WORDPRESS & HER WONDERFUL BOOK, to help you stay fashion, as well as money savvy this season and beyond :)

OOH, and I also got to meet PixiWoo and experience a few of their make up tutorials including their take on the Gothic look that's really dominant this season. Check them out Here (youtube) and HERE (blog), you won't be disappointed, I promise!
