A good pair of versatile harems, light denim shorts (preferably vintage high waisted style), striped tee, and basic tee's/vests to throw on with anything! Wedges that can be worn for day or night, flat sandals (think simple thong or lace up), lightweight short jacket, lightweight shorts (that can be worn with flats or heels), printed lightweight scarf/pashmina for cooler evenings and some fun brightly coloured jewellery.
I would avoid spening a lot on items that you wont wear that often and that cant be mixed into an autumn wardobe, as our summer is hardly long and hot!
