When I visit different cities, vintage stores aren't really a priority, however from experience;, Paris is really good for vintage and designer vintage such as Chanel, Hermes and Vuitton, but they are pricey. Liverpool's oxfam has a designer section, and Manchester has quite a few vintage places as well as a designer Oxfam. Birmingham has a vintage warehouse, and a couple of vintage places in the Custard Factory.
There are a lot of ebay stores that are solely vintage which are worth checking out, as they allow you to vintage shop in the comfort of your own home! And charity shops all over, are a good place to check out as they will have vintage clothing without the price tag that may come with shopping in specific 'vintage' clothing stores.
