£3.99 well spent

The company high street edit Spring/Summer magazine is really good.
A refreshing take on high street and moderately priced fashion without being full of Primark and Boo-Hoo tat. (Don't get me wrong, I appreciate good value fashion stores, I really do, but I like a bit of variety when reading and I like a bit of reliability when I walk about the house in something.)
The pages are high quality-thick and matte, and the layout is impeccable, with some really nice touches like cute fashion sketches, Polaroid style image frames and garments technical drawings.
There are interviews with bloggers, ideas on customising garments and minimal celebrity bullshit. It was refreshing to read a magazine and not see Cheryl Cole, Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolies faces.
My only quarm? Their ''new fashion 'it' list'', which features (out of ten) Kesha (no I wont replace the 'S' with a dollar sign) at number 3, Kristen Stewart at 8 and Ellie Goulding (In a fucking plain grey hoody) at number ten- 3 people I'd like to punch in the face and don't respect for their style what-so-ever. (But what do I know?)

Anyway. Buy this magazine. It's good little keeper.

  1. I absolutely love Kristen Stewart and I think her style is what a normal 20 year olds should be! I think her style is amazing anyway..I like grunge and that so that's probably why aha!

How comes you hate her? x

  2. Haha :) I also like grunge, and respect that choice of style but personally I just don't favour her what so ever, I find her awkward looking, and feel she never looks comfortable in what she has on, she also seems to have bad posture! Xxx

  3. I think people either hate her or love her, and I'm definatly for the latter :)
I kind of find it endearring when people aren't that confident, I mean I don't know how she is when her friends, but I'm guessing she's pretty fun and not awkward around them.
But I don't know, there's something about people, boys or girls, that makes them more attractive when their not fully confident in themselves.

    xx
