in your opinion, what clothing suits plus sized girls?

Most importantly the clothes need to fit well, and have a good cut (think Jennifer Hudson in Victoria Beckham). Wearing ill-fitting clothes isn't flattering on anyone and will not flatter any figure. Wearing tops that finish on your widest point will only accentuate that. As will horizontal stripes (unless framed with a cardigan/jacket). In my personal opinion I would choose a block colour over fussy patterns.
Wearing a black top/dress with an open contrasting coloured cardigan/jacket over it will create the illusion of a slim line figure, as the colour will frame the black.
It is important to be aware of your best and worst features (with any figure) and dress to cater for them. For example a big bust won’t be flattered by a turtle neck, and a wobbly belly won't be flattered by a crop top.
The thing for larger figures- or any figure for that matter is to be aware of your body shape and wear clothes to suit it, not to dress it in clothes that suit other people.

Ask me anything

  1. I think it depends on their actual size. I know a lot of big big women and they often show their cleavage and put a belt under their bust. They do it to show that they have big boobs but it just makes then look even bigger.

  2. Yeah, I completely agree. Plus size is a bit vague. xx
